Quiet London Postcard Book - Inspiring Images of London's Peaceful Places
Posted on
Quiet London Postcard Book is available from 5th March 2015 and I was delighted to be sent a copy pre - publication to review. If you enjoyed reading Siobhan Wall's Quiet London you will love this selection of beautiful cards depicting some of the most iconic images from her original book.
Leighton House Museum
In her book, Siobhan has chosen a fabulous selection of mostly colour photos, each one depicting an unique location where one can retreat from the hustle and bustle of London life. Each location is beautifully captured and the photos represent the diversity of peaceful places from historic houses, pubs and churches to parks and gardens.
St Bartholomew the Great
The book is good value at £6.99 as it contains 20 easy tear postcards, produced on good quality card and there is plenty of space on the back to write a message.
Kensington Roof Garden
There are many inspiring outdoor venues featured such as the charming Kensington Roof Garden, whose brightly painted building provide a stunning back drop to its flower and fauna.
The Grenadier
The Grenadier a delightful, historic pub tucked away at the end of a cobbled Mews in Belgraiva also featured.
The London Buddhist Centre
The Buddist Centre is just one of the religious buildings perfect for quiet compilation which are included in the book.
L Cornelissen and Son
The art shop was my favourite image in the series as it is such an eye catch store and a wonderful place to browse. It's a little oasis located between Oxford Street and the British Museum and really epitomises the whole essence of the postcard book that it only takes a few moment to escape the crowds and retreat into a place of total calm.
This stunning postcard book is full of beautiful pictures to delight and inspire you and is on sale later on this week.
