Fleet Street is well known for its associations with the newspaper industry and journalism and this tour focuses on the area's rich history, including some surprising royal and religious connections.

On the Fleet Street walking tour we will see the site of a former Tudor palace and St Bride's Church, also known as the Wedding Cake Church, where Jerry Hall and Rupert Murdoch married.

Although the newspaper industry is no longer based in this famous street we will see some of the fragments of its amazing past that have survived. We also visit the delightful hidden alleyways and courtyards where you will hear tales about some of its colourful characters including Dr Samuel Johnson and Hodge, his pet cat.
